Falling away comes First!

By Shaila Touchton Scripture warns us that in the last days before second coming of Jesus Christ there will be wars and rumors of wars, nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom and there shall be famines , food shortages, pestilences despite of medical advances, old and new diseases will plague mankind, there will be increase in earthquakes and floods and natural disasters ,which are the beginning of sorrows .Also there would be increase of antichrist spirits, false Christ’s, false Prophets, false signs and wonders, tremendous increase in wickedness. Many people have deliberately turned away from God and have become Godless and some have heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons. 1 Timothy 4:1-3 says “The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron. They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth”. Many churches are filled with false teachers who are wolves in sheep’s clothing and their congregation is filled with carnal Christians or lukewarm Christians or compromise Christians and a type of Godliness (2 Timothy 3:5). . These churches have become man-centered and have cool and fun entertainment-style programs designed to lure kids and teens into church, baiting the hook with promises of excitement with spectacular worldly events like hip-hop and rock music, craft time, snack time, or game time. God’s intention is that the gospel should be enough to draw men into the church (John 12:32, 33, Romans 1:16), not food, fun, selling books, games or entertainment. The true church is not lead by man’s spirit, it is led by the Spirit of God. we see nowadays days such churches are continually begging for more money, twisting the Scriptures to exploit people, even asking donation to the church or organizations. God said to give the money to the needy. With the church money, these false pastors and their families go to vacation or trips to many places with Gods money and enjoy all luxury living. These people have turned the House of God into a place of greed, gluttony, merchandizing, fraud, and a den of thieves and robbers. Here is what scriptures says: How terrible it will be for you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites...........you are so full of greed and self-indulgence” (Matt 23:25). "Beware of these teachers of religious law! For they love to parade in flowing robes and to have everyone bow to them as they walk in the market places. And how they love the seats of honor in the synagogues and at banquets. But they shamelessly cheat widows out of their property, and then to cover up the kind of people they really are, they make long prayers in public. Because of this, their punishment will be the greater (Mark 12:38-40). 2 Peter 2-3 says “Many will follow their evil teaching and shameful immorality. And because of them, Christ and his true way will be slandered. In their greed, they will make up clever lies to get hold of your money. But God condemned them long ago, and their destruction is on the way." So-called "Christian" rock, rap, punk and hip-hop only attract worldly people to worldly music, not Christ Jesus. They sell their materials in these churches with their selling gimmicks in the name of God, charity and blessings in order to make money for their organization. Isaiah 56:11 says “And meet impudent dogs, they never had enough: the shepherds themselves knew no understanding: all have turned aside into their own way, every one after his own gain, from the first even to the last”. 2 Peter 2:3 says “And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you. Whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their perdition slumbereth not”. These carnal men have crept the churches to pervert gospel and destroying the soul of children. Jude 1:4 declares,” For there are certain men, crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men”. 1John2-15 says, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” Jesus was Poor. Jesus never had any luxurious stuff like modern day false preachers. Jesus himself cared for those in need by feeding the hungry. Crowds of four thousand (Mark 8:1-13) and five thousand (Mark 6:30-44) had assembled to listen to Jesus. They soon became hungry. When his disciples suggested that Jesus send the people away to buy food, he responded by saying "I have compassion on these people..." and "you give them something to eat." He proceeded to perform miracles to feed these large crowds of hungry people. 2 Peter 1:16 says For we did not follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His majesty. Jesus will not return for a church without spot or wrinkle unless the falling away comes first. which says in 1 Thess. 2:3. Jesus was warning that God’s house is not a marketplace, that it is a house of prayer. And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the money changers, and the seats of them that sold doves, and He said unto them, 'It is written, "My house shall be called a house of prayer"; but you have made it a "den of thieves"'(Matthew 21:12-13)." Jesus overturning tables was his righteous anger because man was abusing the temple of God, instead of worshipping God they were worshipping another God -the money and making it as a marketing place. 1 Corinthians 10:21 reminds us that “You simply cannot drink of the Lord's cup and the cup of devils”. James 4:4 says “Do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility towards God? Therefore, whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God (1 Peter 3:15). Jesus did not need artistic talent, money, musical appeal, and fancy self-centered words, worldliness to reach people and save them. He used the word of God and lived a sinless Holy life full of clear examples of sacrifice, humility and true love for others.
